August N’anecdotes…

I curiously read responses solicited by a NYT piece titled, "Move Everything Outside," from readers sharing COVID-life innovations. Then I had a brainwave. "Why couldn't Beckett & Co. get together outside?" People out-of-doors, masked, and distanced, enjoy fresh air advantages. Among adults, airborne-droplets transmission is disabled. In Sept. my Columbia College Chicago, hybrid class, (virtual & in-person) will start meeting in Grant Park. (My kingdom, for a camp stool!) There are plenty dark days ahead to gather remotely. Let's seriously give this fresh-air option a shot why don't we?
